So far it’s not possible to directly upload files to this forum. The picture or video you want to post must first be uploaded somewhere else, for example in your our-cat.com album.

To post a picture in a group forum like this you can either
- include an URL in your posting to create a link to a picture or video uploaded elsewhere (for example in your our-cat.com album)
- or you include a picture (that was uploaded somewhere else, not in your our-cat.com album) in your posting by including the appropriate HTML code.

If you decide to go for the first option, to create a link, simply include in your posting something like this (replace it with the link to your picture or whatever you want to link, don’t use the extra space after www. as used below, for it to be converted into a clickable link):
www .google.com
to create something like this:
http://www.google.com
Example: The URL of the Google logo (imagine it’s a cat) turns into this…
http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/srpr/logo1w.png
The first picture I uploaded to my first album is located at (with added spaces):
www .our-cat.com/members/Cat/album/picture/1/
Removing the spaces turns it into this:
http://www.our-cat.com/members/Cat/album/picture/1/

If you prefer the second option, to directly insert a picture (that needs to be uploaded somewhere else), you have to include some standard XHTML code (img src tag, like described at http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_IMG.asp) in your posting.
Example: The Cute cats group avatar looks like this:

You may want to upload the picture to a free public image hosting service (http://www.google.com/search?q=free+image+hoster), then copy & paste the HTML they provide in your forum posting. Please do not hotlink pictures from other servers without permission.

An easy way to include a picture or even attractive galleries / albums in your our-cat.com postings is to get a free account at Cincopa.

The easiest way to post pictures to our-cat.com probably are our member albums. When you’re logged in, simply click on “My Account” in the pull-down menu on top of our web pages. From the list of menu items choose “Album” and in the sub-menu click on “Upload picture”. There you can upload pictures directly from your computer to your album on our-cat.com. You can even choose who is allowed to see your pictures on our website.
